If the President resigns, the Co-President becomes President.
Public Relations
Designs and spreads posters and promotional materials
Creates Instagram posts and social media updates
Publishes announcements for meetings and events
Helps increase awareness and engagement for MSA activities
Maintaining Website & Creating MSA Monthly Newsletter
Event Coordinators (2 Positions)
One Male Coordinator and One Female Coordinator
The Event Coordinators are responsible for planning, organizing, and managing MSA events throughout the school year. Having both a male and female coordinator helps ensure that events are organized effectively for all members of the MSA community.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and organizing MSA events and activities
Coordinating collaboration events with other clubs or organizations
Helping organize Ramadan-related activities and initiatives within the school
Managing event logistics, scheduling, and preparation
Making announcements and updates about upcoming events
Working closely with the MSA board to ensure events run smoothly
Event Coordinators should be organized, responsible, creative, and able to work well with a team to create successful and engaging events for the MSA community.
Imam (Male)
The Imam serves as the spiritual leader of the MSA and helps guide members through Islamic reminders, Quran recitation, and khutbahs.
Responsibilities include:
• Leading Jummah Salah when organized by the MSA
• Reciting the Qur’an or Hadith of the Day during meetings
• Delivering khutbahs and Islamic reminders
• Supporting MSA events with Islamic knowledge and guidance
Requirements:
Candidates will be assessed on their accuracy and fluency in Qur’an recitation.
Preference will be given to students who are Huffadh or have strong Qur’an memorization.
Candidates for the Imam position must demonstrate good Islamic character and conduct, including avoiding relationships that are not permissible in Islam.
The Imam should demonstrate strong character, leadership, and the ability to represent Islam positively in the school community.
Da’wah Team
(2–3 Members)
The Da’wah Team focuses on spreading knowledge about Islam and representing Islam positively within the school community.
Responsibilities include:
Promoting Islamic awareness and education
Organizing Islam awareness initiatives or discussions
Creating Islamic reminders, verses, or reflections for meetings or social media
Supporting the Imam and leadership team with Islamic content
Encouraging good character and positive representation of Islam
Members should be passionate about learning, sharing knowledge, and representing Islam with wisdom and respect.
Community Projects Team
(2–3 Members)
This team focuses on service and community impact.
Responsibilities include:
Planning community service projects
Organizing volunteer opportunities
Helping the MSA give back to both the school and the local community
Leading initiatives that promote unity, kindness, and service
Islamic Affairs Team
(2–3 Members)
The Islamic Affairs Team helps maintain the Islamic identity and spiritual focus of the MSA.
Responsibilities include:
Organizing Islamic reminders during meetings
Preparing Qur’an reflections or Hadith of the week
Supporting the Imam with Islamic content and khutbah preparation when needed
Ensuring MSA events follow Islamic values and etiquette
Helping organize Islamic educational discussions or activities
